Sony is Pulling out all the stops

In today’s state of play, the lights dimmed, the curtains drew back, and we were greeted with the illustrious IP of Resident Evil. This time fans get a remake of the 4th installment. Starting off this state of play with a bang and having something for everyone through the showcase including but not limited to Stray, Enternights, Tunic, Final Fantasy XV1, Street fight 6, and The Callisto, truly a mélange of titles for every pallet, and any taste.

This state of play was different in the sense that every game trailer, someone somewhere would be excited about. The great thing about a state of play, or even an Xbox Show case is that there are games that fit everyone’s needs. There are children’s games, horror games, VR games, chill games, and even retro games that take it back to the 90’s. This state of play had a good mixture of heavy hitters and slow burners that a lot of people will enjoy. When it came to VR, todays State of Play showed such a variety from Horizon VR Call of The Mountain, to The Walking Dead: Retribution two strikingly different VR titles bringing amazing things to the gaming world.

So while I was trying to contain my excitement, and not get ahead of myself seeing Resident Evil 4 Remake grace my screen along with Final Fantasy XV1 and Stray, filled me with a giddy excitement about this upcoming year. With all of the choices that we will have with upcoming games rest assured for your backlog to be filled, and your hearts to be full.
