V Rising First Impressions: Animal Crossings, But Make It Vampires

Intro: V Rising is a top down MMORP survival game that takes you of the coffin and into the sun. created by Stunlock studios, this game blends storytelling with action, world building and crafting in one casual relaxing experiencing that you can sink your teeth right into. Another Day in the Sun: I was fortunate enough to be in the closed beta for this game and what an experience it was! Getting to see how responsive the devs were, how they worked on the game and sent every update email with an excited fervor. When the final game was released, I didn’t get to play it for a bit, then it was sent to me by a subscriber of my YouTube channel and couldn’t have been more excited! This isn’t the type of game that has a linear storyline or pace (for the most part.) It’s as if you played animal crossings, but with vampires. There’s just enough story, with a mix of everything else. (World building, castle building, and character interactions) whether that be in the clan of your own creation, or in casual PVP or PVE. As The Story Goes: So far, I’m really enjoying this game, it’s a calm, fun experience, but isn’t for everyone. World building games can be a hit or miss and since I already love Animal Crossings, I knew I would love this game. The controls take some getting used to and personally I would scope them out and all their functionality before diving headfirst into this game. The beginning can be rather confusing to find the lay of the land, but that’s me only really critique of it as of right now. The music is immersive, as well as the character creation section in the beginning. So if you enjoy a chill vampire world building game be sure to put this game on your wish list.
